Happy Monday, all!

This one goes out early because your immediate response wanting to help with the dire situation I talked about on Saturday in the Middle East.

Thank you so much for caring about people.

I know we can call our Representatives. We want to firmly and respectfully tell them what we want them to do and why. If you are Christian and/or pro-life, mentioning that could also help, since I think representatives are concerned about those voters.

I understand the Senate passed a package foreign aid and humanitarian aid in February. The situation in the Middle East has put civilians in a dire situation, facing starvation and famine.

As a Christian who shares your value to protect life, I feel it is unacceptable to let people suffer when we can help. I wish the aid was passed already because these people are out of time.

Please tell the congressman I urge him to pressure Speaker Johnson to bring the aid package for a vote and for him to vote yes. Thank you.

Extra Credit

President Biden’s Administration has been doing things to help the situation. Again, the people there are out of time and need all the aid we can get them…like, now, if we want any chance of preventing famine. Here is what you can say if you want to message the White House. Modify it to make sense for you.

Thank you for sending aid in airdrops and starting the building of a temporary pier to try preventing famine in the Middle East. We are learning now the people there do not have the 60 days we need before the pier is built.

While we build the pier, please increase the airdrops and do anything else you can until the pier is working. They are out of time and need all the aid we can give them immediately if we have any chance of preventing a famine.

As a Christian and someone who is pro-life, I want you to do anything you can to protect life.

I really can’t thank you enough. I thought I was going to be making these calls alone and wasn’t going to say any more about the situation. I know it is hard to think about especially with everything else in life…you all reaching out and asking me how to help really could save lives. New Nashville native

The zoo in Nashville apparently welcomed a new…tamandua? (link) Yeah, I didn’t know either, but apparently they are members of the giant anteater family. 🐜  Pretty cute 😁

Police department honors officers

The officers who arrived to the scene in the Covenant School shooting last year were honored as the officers of the year (link). From the article…
